Hello, friend. My name is Zoë Austrie, I’m a Baltimore-based artist and creative exploring the places where identity, femininity, spirituality, and self-expression meet.

Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I’ve always experienced it as more than something to look at—it’s one of the univerSOUL languages, a way of communicating what sometimes exists beyond words and speaking directly to something deeper within us.

My work centers women as muses and creates femme-forward abstract worlds—imagined spaces where women are safe to be vulnerable, free to express themselves, and unapologetically who they are. I paint women because I find them beautiful, but also because I believe women are foundational to the communities we build. I’m interested in what becomes possible when we create worlds that pour back into the people who so often pour into everyone else.

My own relationship with art has moved through seasons. There have been times when motherhood, family, and life required me to place my creative self in the background. Returning to my art has been a return to myself—a reminder that I don’t have to choose between the many parts of who I am.

Today, I create across painting, digital art, music, and whatever other mediums give me room to explore. I’m less interested in staying inside one category and more interested in following the feeling, the story, and the idea wherever they lead.

At the heart of everything I create is a simple desire:

to tell stories through shape and hue, create beauty with intention, and make space for people to feel more free to be themselves.

And wherever possible, I want that art to be accessible—not something that only lives behind gallery walls or belongs to those who can afford it.

Because I believe art can do more than decorate a space.

It can create a world.
